THE SCHAUMBURG BOOMERS ARE SEEKING ENTHUSIASTIC, SELF-MOTIVATED STUDENTS TO BE A PART OF THE 2025 SEASON. AS AN INTERN, YOU WILL OBTAIN FIRST-HAND EXPERIENCE IN THE ENTIRE OPERATION OF A SUCCESSFUL PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL FRANCHISE.

A Graphic Design & Media Intern would primarily be focused on helping to support the sponsorship activation, entertainment, and promotions departments. We are looking for a passionate and positive person who will strive for excellence, will assist in the creation of digital and print design projects including but not limited to scoreboard graphics, social media and web graphics, and advertisements.

EVERY DAY IS DIFFERENT WITH THE BOOMERS, BUT A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:

• Follow and adhere to creative and design deadlines
• Create digital graphics for website, video production, boomers social media, etc.
• Creation of pregame, in game, and postgame graphics (lineups, game updates, final score, etc.)
• Create content that relates to the boomers branding guidelines
• Assist Promotions Department during the game when not making graphics
• Participate in various community events such as parades, tabling events, etc.
• Help with the day-to-day function of the organization. You may be asked to do several tasks; it's part of the all-inclusive experience!

YOU'RE A GOOD FIT IF YOU:

• Are currently attending college
• Are able to work all 50 home games & additional off-site events
• Proficient in Canva or adobe creative suite (photoshop, premiere, illustrator)
• Strong attention to detail & organizational skills
• Have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, multi-task work environment
• Have superior oral communication, writing, & editing skills
• Have superior oral communication skills
• Are highly motivated with a strong work ethic
• Strong desire to work in a team environment
