Accounting Clerk
Location: Louisville, KY Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Pay Range: $20 - 25/hr. Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk. This role supports core accounting functions and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy and organization. Responsibilities · Process accounts payable and receivable transactions · Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies · Maintain financial records and assist with month-end close · Prepare basic financial reports · Support payroll and tax documentation · Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting issues · Assist with audits and budgeting activities Qualifications · Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred · 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, AS400)· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills · Ability to work independently and as part of a team · Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour Search managed by: Elisia Bybee Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
