Accounts Receivable Specialist

Responsibilities

• Send out monthly statements
• Send copies of invoices as requested
• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
• Collect and post payments from charge customers and arrange payment plans
• Follow up on past due accounts and returned checks
• Process applications for new customers applying for credit and verify references
• Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheet and updating information as needed

Requirements

• Must have minimum 3 years' experience in AR
• Experience using a dealership management system (DMS) and payroll platform
• Developed written and verbal communication skills
• Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills to ensure records and reports are accurate
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and with a team
• Strong project management skills. Able to work multiple projects simultaneously and flexible enough to handle lots of information at once
• Accounting degree (preferred, not required)
• Experience in automotive dealership (preferred, not required)
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
