We are presently seeking a talented Intern Architect with at least 3 years of experience. This role requires communicating with both the design team and the offshore team, as well as completing various types of projects – starting with design concepts and followed by construction documents.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist with programming and space planning
• Develop construction drawing sets, including floor plans, elevations, sections, millwork, details & specific schedules
• Work hand-in hand with structural and MEP engineers
• Coordinate with the client and construction team
• Visit sites when needed
• Ensure continuity and consistency of design deliverables, meet project schedules, budgets and deadlines
• Review and check all work for design, accuracy and completeness
• Manage and work effectively within a collaborative team environment on multiple projects in a fast paced environment
• Effective communication skills are essential for this position
Qualifications and Skills:
• Proficient in REVIT and AutoCAD
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Minimum of 3 years of experience creating architectural construction drawings
• Knowledge of construction materials, details, standards and building codes
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
