Job Description

We are hiring Retail Merchandise Assemblers for Around the Clock Services, working with major retailers such as ACE Hardware, Cabela’s, Lowe’s, Home Depot and other large home‑goods chains. The role involves assembling, delivering, and installing merchandise in-store or at customers’ homes while maintaining a “showroom‑ready” display area and working independently with minimal supervision. Work Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license Must have a working mobile phone and access to the internet Must be able to work remotely/have reliable internet access via a smartphone or other mobile device Must have a mobile phone that can access the internet (WIFI or mobile data) Must be able to travel between 2–4 store locations and within a 25–50‑mile radius as required Position Requirements Heavy lifting is required (up to 80 lbs repeatedly and daily) Must be able to stand, squat, and bend over for extended periods of time Read and execute assembly instructions, drawings, and instructions manuals Must be mechanically inclined and able to assemble RTA products Operate computer to check schedules and update manufacturing status of jobs Must be self‑motivated, energetic and a good communicator Must have reliable transportation for travel to multiple customer sites Tool Requirements Impact driver (with assorted bits and batteries) Cordless drill with #2 and #3 bits Metric box‑wrench set (with sockets) Phillips‑head & flat‑head screwdrivers; small hammer, box cutter, rubber mallet Adjustable socket wrench, ratcheting Phillips‑head screwdriver Small claw hammer, hex key or Allen wrench Portable table (optional) Smartphone or smart device with WIFI or mobile internet Availability Weekends available Full‑time, part‑time, and on‑call positions available Preferred High school diploma or equivalent Familiarity with hand tools and power tools 1‑year or more previous assembly experience Willingness to travel throughout the city or state Job Responsibilities Ensure a quality, well‑built product and check for missing pieces Follow detailed assembly instructions, guidelines, and procedures Communicate and work well with store management and staff Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard‑free Report issues, malfunction, missing, or defective parts Operate smartphone app to check schedules and update job status Training & Compensation Training is provided for inexperienced builders. Compensation is paid by finished piece; the faster and more accurately you work, the higher the pay. The pay rate for each finished item varies on the level of difficulty.
