We are seeking a skilled and compassionate " Associate Immigration Attorney " to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal acumen, leadership skills, and experience in immigration law. This role involves overseeing a team of paralegals, representing clients in legal proceedings, and managing a diverse caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of paralegals, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Coordinate with Senior Attorney on case strategy and complex legal issues.
• Review 20+ applications weekly before submission.
• Prepare for and attend Master Hearings, handling two to eight hearings weekly.
• Draft and file legal motions (e.g., Motions to Recalendar, Motions to Withdraw, Motions to Consolidate, Motions to Change Venue, Motions to Terminate).
• Coordinate with DHS for joint motions as needed.
• Meet with clients to discuss updates, changes in strategy and challenges regarding their case.
• Represent clients during USCIS appointments.
• Conduct case reviews, monitor deadlines, and maintain daily communication with paralegals.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to, and in good standing with the bar in any state and/or Puerto Rico.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in immigration, removal proceedings, and deportation.
• Leadership and people management skills
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities
• Ability to multitask and manage high-volume caseloads
• Proficiency in legal software and tools
• Strong writing, reading, and comprehension skills
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus
• Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
