Job Title: CAD Detailer / Architectural Drafter
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
We are seeking a CAD Detailer with experience in architectural products —particularly those involving complex angles and custom fabricated components . The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in AutoCAD drafting and detailing , with a keen eye for precision and a passion for transforming design concepts into accurate, manufacturable drawings.

This role is ideal for a professional with 2+ years of experience who is ready to grow into a senior-level position through hands-on project involvement, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints using AutoCAD.
• Review and interpret architectural and manufacturing drawings to ensure design intent and technical accuracy.
• Identify and resolve drawing discrepancies or issues.
• Analyze project requirements and specifications to ensure compliance with design and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and project management teams to produce drawings that meet project goals.
• Update and modify existing drawings to reflect design or scope changes.
• Ensure all drawings conform to industry standards and project specifications (ASME, ANSI, ASTM).
• Maintain accurate project files and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical support and coordinate with architects, contractors, and engineers as needed.
• Participate in design reviews and quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of drawing practices, workflows, and standards.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field .
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on AutoCAD experience in an architectural, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics .
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.
• Excellent communication skills —both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency .
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a project team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in manufacturing, mining and mineral processing, fabrication estimating, quality control, industrial maintenance, rubber lining, welding, or steel fabrication .
• Working knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and ASTM standards.
• Demonstrated experience in manufacturing and production drawings for fabricated or assembled components.
