McCloskey Appearance Center is a fast growing auto cosmetic repair company based in Colorado Springs, CO. We are looking for a Paint & Body Shop Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Mentor and grow Detail shop & Paint and Body technicians.
• Diagnose and determine appropriate process/procedures for cleanliness and cosmetic repair.
• Recruit, hire, and motivate qualified technicians.
• Assist in logging an preparing payroll for the body shop and detail.
• Close and invoice all final invoices before vehicle leaves; final bill/final supplement to insurance company.
• Maintain and foster vendor relationships.
• Maintain and monitor gross profit opportunities from vendors.
• Approve all sublet/outside vendor invoices.
• Prepare estimates on costs and time required for work.
• Complete proper documentation and record-keeping on repair orders.
• Perform quality checks on completed jobs.
• Represent the McCloskey brand by maintaining a professional demeanor and strong relationship skills.
• Complete job in accordance with applicable safety requirements.

Requirements:

• 2 years of Detail Shop, Body Shop or relevant Automotive Dealership Management Experience.
• Knowledge of the processes, techniques and materials used in paint and body repair.
• Knowledge of the proper methods of prep equipment and proper procedures.
• Knowledge of the proper methods of caring for detailing equipment, paint booth, prep equipment, and body repair materials.
• A thorough understanding of safety precautions required in performing the work of the trade.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, kneel, bend, and/or reach above the shoulders.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work independently and excel in a fast paced environment.

Basic Qualifications

• Two years' experience in technician supervision.
• Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company's insurance carrier.
• Clean Background check is required.
