We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design and implement end-to-end data solutions using Azure services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SQL, data engineering, data warehousing, and cloud-based technologies. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to develop scalable data pipelines, perform data analysis on large datasets, and build BI solutions using Power BI and Azure data tools. Key Responsibilities Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines using Cosmos DB and Azure Data Factory. Write complex and efficient T-SQL queries for data manipulation and analysis. Conduct performance tuning of SQL queries and ensure optimal system performance. Analyze and troubleshoot complex data issues involving large datasets. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI. Work on customer-facing code development and perform code reviews. Ensure robust data engineering practices and adhere to data warehousing concepts. Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with ANSI-SQL and T-SQL. Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake (ADLS), and Azure BLOB storage. Working knowledge of Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse Analytics. Experience with Microsoft BI tools, especially Power BI. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices. Demonstrated experience in performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries. Proven expertise in analyzing large datasets and solving complex data issues. Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with cloud data platforms like Databricks and Snowflake. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Storage. Familiarity with Kusto Query Language (KQL) for data analysis. Exposure to Microsoft Big Data technologies.
