Bookkeeper

Location: Southfield, MI (Hybrid: 3 days remote, 2 days in-office)
Pay: $27 – $31/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Flexible start time between 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM (8-hour workday)

About the Role

LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a client in Southfield, MI, who is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team immediately . This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity offering a hybrid work arrangement and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivable

• Reconcile bank statements and financial records

• Maintain accurate financial documentation and ledgers

• Assist with month-end and year-end closings

• Support financial reporting and audits as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bookkeeping (3–5 years preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
