We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and support strategic initiatives that drive the company’s objectives.

Essential Job Functions

• Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to operational and financial performance. Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Financial Reporting: As needed, assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting. Monitor financial performance against key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Process Improvement: Work closely with the Operations team to identify inefficiencies in current processes. Propose and implement solutions to optimize workflow and reduce costs.
• Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to support strategic planning and business development efforts.
• Support Decision-Making: Provide analytical support to management by delivering insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to gather information and support company-wide initiatives.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of analyses, processes, and procedures. Ensure all documentation is up to date and accessible to relevant teams.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects as assigned by Operations and Finance Leaders.
• Performs all other related duties as designated by management
• Requires NC Alarm Systems Licensing Board registration, this registration process includes an extensive background check, fingerprinting, and application process.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of financial analysis principles and accounting practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education and Experience

• Associate’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance is preferred.
