SUMMARY OF POSITION:\n \n \n

\n

\n Responsible to perform cardiac ultrasound studies under the supervision of a sonographer from a more senior category or a physician.\n

\n

\n

\n

\n \n \n

\n

\n \n MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):\n \n

\n

\n
• \n High school diploma or equivalent.\n
\n
• \n Must be ARDMS or CCI registered or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must be registered within one (1) year of start date.\n
\n
• \n Must obtain BLS certification within 6 months from hire.\n
\n

\n

\n \n \n PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):\n \n \n

\n

\n

\n

\n
• \n Graduate from a formal training program in cardiac ultrasound and two (2) years of experience is preferred.\n
\n
• \n Experience with pediatrics and TEE preferred.\n
\n
