General Overview:
This is a great opportunity for a chemical engineer to progress at a 30-person (newer) polymer compounding plant as a Plant Process Engineer with plans for promotion into the Site Plant Manager in two years. This person will be responsible for process optimization, production support updating SOPs, upgrading the plant controls and associated instrumentation. This site is one of two US sites with great benefits, a bonus, and a 401k.
Experience:
B.S. in Chemical Engineer with 5+ years’ experience, out of chemicals, plastics, rubber, foods, pharma, or paints/coatings. A person should either supervisory experience or have lead project teams. Exposure to PLCs or instrumentation is a plus.
