Job Summery :
We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform Architect with a strong background in security controls and policy administration to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) security frameworks and tools, and be adept at designing, implementing, and managing security policies and controls. This role requires a deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform Identity and Access Management, Secure in Place strategies, Prisma Cloud Alert remediation, and Workload Identity Federation.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Design: Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient Google Cloud Platform architectures tailored to business needs, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and security standards.
Security Controls: Develop, implement, and manage Google Cloud Platform security controls, including encryption, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems, to protect sensitive data and resources.
Policy Administration: Administer and enforce security policies and procedures across Google Cloud Platform environments, ensuring robust governance and compliance.
Identity and Access Management (IAM): Oversee Google Cloud Platform Identity and Access Management, including user authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls (RBAC), to ensure secure access to cloud resources.
Secure in Place Strategies: Implement and manage secure in place strategies to safeguard data at rest and in transit within the Google Cloud Platform environment.
Prisma Cloud Alert Remediation: Monitor and respond to Prisma Cloud alerts, perform threat analysis, and implement remediation actions to mitigate security risks.
Workload Identity Federation: Manage and integrate Workload Identity Federation to streamline access management for workloads running on Google Cloud Platform.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, Google Cloud Platform services, and industry best practices to continuously enhance the security posture of the organization.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, IT, and application development, to ensure security is integrated into the cloud infrastructure and application lifecycle.
Documentation and Training: Develop comprehensive documentation for security policies, procedures, and architectures. Provide training and guidance to internal teams on Google Cloud Platform security best practices.
