  • GENERAL SUMMARY

    We are looking to hire professionals to join our great team as an Installer. Full-time & Part-time positions available with immediate starts, we offer competitive compensation and great benefits. Successful candidates will be required to complete a background and drug pre-employment screenings.

    The position will be responsible for loading and unloading the trucks, installing furniture according to the directions you receive from our customers, and assembling products on-site. You will also help prep the job site and clean up after the installation is complete. All applicants must have the physical ability to load and unload furniture items from the delivery trucks. You will be responsible for driving to various job locations and/or expected to meet at a job site with reliable transportation.

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Follow direction of supervisor in tasks related to the assembly, disassembly and installation service of modular office systems and furniture/furnishings.
    • Handle equipment and off-loading procedures with care and consideration of staging strategies.
    • Perform actual installation of product to the degree set forth by supervisor and according to individuals experience and familiarity with product.
    • Remove debris, wipe down, and fine tune product as required.
    • The tasks associated with installation are diverse, and successful completion of the installation process depends largely upon team cooperation following the direction of the project supervisor.

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    • Mechanically inclined.
    • Ability to operate tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
    • Loads or assists in loading assigned vehicle with all product and equipment necessary to complete the day’s workload.
    • Inspects loads for potential problems/discrepancies and ensures that all necessary tools, parts and equipment are available and loaded.
    • Assembles and installs office furniture and other related products. Works under the direction of a Supervisor, as part of a crew of other team members and/or subcontractors assigned to the job.
    • Completes appropriate paperwork, documenting any discrepancies and punch list items.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

    • Experience with install of Systems Furniture, Wall Track, Picture Hanging & Executive Furniture Assembly is a plus but not necessary as we are willing to train the right candidates.
    • Ability to see jobs through to completion in a professional and time efficient manner with minimal supervision.
    • Experience/Ability to drive a 24' box truck preferred, but not a requirement.
    • Having your own tools a plus!
    • One year experience assembling, installing and dismantling office furniture or similar products preferred.
    • Ability to read furniture plans and blueprints.

    PHYSICAL AND MIND SET REQUIREMENTS

    • One year experience assembling, installing and dismantling office furniture or similar products preferred.
    • Ability to read furniture plans and blueprints.
    • Communicating professionally with customers, crew members and office personnel.
    • Ability to lift and move loads of up to 100 lbs.
    • Ability to load and unload delivery truck.

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT

    • 40 - 50 hour work week, overtime as required.
    • Work occurs indoors and outdoors in both winter and summer regardless of weather conditions.
