Superintendent – Commercial Residential General Contracting

Location: Ft. Myers, FL (Relocation Package Available)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Superintendent to join our team and lead large-scale commercial residential construction projects in Ft. Myers, Florida . The ideal candidate has successfully completed at least five large builds and has overseen the construction of 1,500+ residential units . This role requires a leader who can manage all on-site operations, ensure high-quality execution, and maintain strict adherence to budgets and timelines.

Salary - $130-180k depending on Experience - Let's discuss

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from pre-construction to project completion.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth workflow.
• Lead and mentor field teams, ensuring safety compliance and operational excellence.
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and implement effective problem-solving strategies.
• Conduct regular site inspections to enforce safety regulations and quality control.
• Manage relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and local officials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in commercial residential construction.
• Proven track record of completing at least 5 large-scale projects and 1,500+ units .
• Strong knowledge of construction management, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and specifications.
• Proficiency in construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Must be currently located in Ft. Myers, FL, or willing to relocate .
