The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant clients, laboratory personnel, or project team members. 

Responsibilities

• Set project timeline
• Monitor project deliverables
• Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
• Manage several programs simultaneously. We are looking for project managers that are capable of managing more than 5 programs at a time. 
• Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them
• Interact with clients regarding product development details and redirects, ingredient information, meeting schedules, and program updates.
• Collaborate with formulators and laboratory technicians on new innovative processes and ideas for hair care, skin care, and color cosmetic products.
• Organize laboratory sample scheduling to increase efficiency in the pending products’ formula approvals.
• Evaluate laboratory sample batches and provide feedback on performance and product expectations
• Create preliminary ingredient lists and marketing information on the pending items

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in project management and/or science background
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Time management skills
• Color matching skills and knowledge
• Passionate about the beauty space
• At least 3 years as a Product Development/ Project Manager in the Cosmetic industry
