The impact you will make:
Comprehensive School Community Treatment (CSCT) is a school - based service that provides therapeutic support for children and families in a manner that promotes success in school, the family, and the community. Services are provided by a master’s level therapist and a specially trained mental health specialist during the school day and at the child’s home if needed. Therapeutic activities are also provided on non-school days during school breaks and throughout the summer vacation.
Work with the family to determine the best treatment plan to meet the child’s needs
Provides professional direct care services to children and families in a public-school environment.
Responsible for therapeutic interventions and developing trusting and healthy relationships.
Integrates with the CSCT team, the child’s family, public school staff, and other treating professionals to create a cohesive approach to services for children.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in the field of Behavioral Sciences (or related field)
One to two years of experience working with emotionally disturbed children or in an educational setting is preferred.
Must be 18 years of age and have a valid Montana Driver’s License.
