The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is currently hiring seasonal custodians for Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. In this position, you will have a key responsibility in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout our stores,ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction and contributing to outstanding visitor experiences.These positions are for the 2026 Spring/Summer Season.

Pay

$18.25 - $18.25 / hour

What will you do?

• Clean public areas, rooms, and restrooms according to department procedures and replenish supplies, maintaining sanitation guidelines 
• Conduct a walk-around of the assigned areas to ensure that the facility meets housekeeping standards 
• Interact with guests while cleaning, assisting guests as needed 
• Report maintenance, repair problems to maintenance or management
• Ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged daily 
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area and sort recycling
• Maintain sanitation guidelines 
• Keep all storage rooms and work areas neat, clean, and organized 
• Perform other duties assigned

More about you

• Must be at least 18 years of age 
• Limited to no experience required; guest service experience preferred 
• Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures 
• Ability to work quickly under pressure 
• Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations 
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

• Frequent walking and standing for the entire length of the shift 
• Frequent climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying 
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50lbs
