As we continue to grow, we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization, including this opportunity at NDX Albensi Laboratory in Irwin, PA for a Full-Time Dental Laboratory Technician Trainee-Fixed.The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. These hours will be subject to change from time to time.This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K; and tuition reimbursement.Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.Place completed computer work cards on proper case pans, reviewing doctor, product and finish date information for correctnessDisinfect all case components using the appropriate disinfection procedurePour models from impressions received from doctors in the proper materialNumber all models and impressions with case numberPindex models and place pins in diesSaw out dies using proper technique to make dies removable for fabricationPlace models on appropriate type of articulator using correct techniqueArticulate models by using bites sent by doctor or hand articulating to correct bite relationshipCheck case for correct doctor information, finish date, product, metal type, and fabrication questions that need to be called on the next dayClean work area dailyAll other duties as assigned.Skills and Abilities Required:Must be able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishExcellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterityDetail orientedMinimum Education and Experience Required:Required: High school diploma or GED equivalentNo experience requiredHazardous Materials or Equipment Used:Wet grindersHand-piecesCoping SawsBard Parker KnivesSteamersAcetoneDie-SeparatorAcceleratorGlueDie-HardenerPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods of time NDX
