Description:

Position purpose:

Is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and efficient operation of all surveillance and security within the casino. Your strategic leadership and strong operational management skills will be crucial in maintaining a secure and compliant environment while maximizing guest satisfaction. This position reports to the General Manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Supervise the observation of casino operations and activities to detect any potential criminal actions by guests, while also ensuring that team members and overall operations comply with standard operating procedures, internal control measures, and applicable federal and tribal regulations.

· Coordinate, strategize, and oversee investigations while managing and directing activities within the monitoring room, ensuring that all tools and equipment are operating effectively.

· Facilitate the supervision of gaming activity monitoring and compliance, which includes identifying and implementing suitable corrective and disciplinary measures in response to violations.

· Implement and facilitate continuous skill enhancement training to keep operators updated on surveillance techniques, best practices, evolving regulations, and emerging threats.

· Distribute, execute, and uphold departmental standards, policies, and procedures.

· Accountable for efficiently overseeing and delegating responsibilities, as well as managing the performance and growth of the departments and its team members, which includes interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and terminating team members.

· Proficient in identifying potential security threats and the ability to implement preventative measures.

Requirements:

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Security Management or minimum of 5 years of experience in Security and Surveillance.
  • Proven experience in a similar executive-level role within the casino, hospitality, or entertainment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of surveillance and security systems.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Sound understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements in the areas of surveillance and security.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.

Licensing:

· Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License

Work Requirements:

Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
