Emergency Critical Care Faculty Physician Opportunity

Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider in South Carolina, is actively seeking fellowship-trained Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine physicians to join our newly established Division of Emergency Critical Care within the Department of Emergency Medicine, University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville. As a member of our division, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative educational programs and clinical services in a leading-edge model of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care.

Position Highlights:

• Join a regional referral and acute care hospital with over 600 beds and more than 100 ICU beds.
• Work in a Level 1 Adult Trauma Center and a Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center.
• Participate in an accredited Transplant program.
• Contribute to a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department within the Children's Hospital.
• Be part of five Community Hospital Emergency Departments.
• Engage with accredited Chest Pain, STEMI, and Comprehensive Stroke Centers.
• Collaborate with regional ground and air EMS Systems.
• Join an accredited 3-year Emergency Medicine Residency Program.
• Contribute to Advanced Emergency Ultrasound and Medical Education Fellowship programs.

Requirements:

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care or eligibility for recent Critical Care Fellowship graduates.
• Proven track record of contributions in Emergency Medicine and critical care subspecialty practice, education, and scholarship.
• Active clinical practice in emergency medicine and critical care.
