Position Summary: The Enterprise Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of both customer and internal IT systems. This position involves providing customer support, conducting thorough performance analysis, and implementing effective solutions to enhance infrastructure efficiency. The specialist will work closely with customers to understand their IT needs and provide recommendations for improvement. They actively participate in supporting our largest enterprise customers by identifying and resolving networking and application performance issues. Internally, the role includes managing and maintaining Windows images, setting up and overseeing testing environments, and establishing performance criteria for software systems.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to maintain and improve IT infrastructure. This position requires a proactive approach to staying current with technological advancements and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to support the organization's growth and operational success.
This position can be located at company headquarters in Kennewick, WA or remote (must be near a major metropolitan airport).
Key Duties / Responsibilities: - Provides comprehensive enterprise support to Cadwell's high performance customers.
- Develop and implement performance testing environments to simulate customer scenarios
- Analyze performance test results and provide actionable recommendations to customers for optimizing their IT infrastructure
- Advise performance criteria and benchmarks for internal software and systems
- Document performance testing processes, results, and improvement plans
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participates in 24/7 team support for enterprise customers
- Manage production Windows images and work with the production team to ensure they are deployed correctly
- Work with Cadwell's Enterprise Solution Architect to manage the deployment and administration of Cadwell's cloud solution on Azure
- Up to 25% travel with the possibility of short notice
- Manages work assignments and commitments, meets deliverables and deadlines, and effectively communicates the status of assigned tasks
- Performs other duties as requested, direct, or assigned
Education / Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology related field (required)
- 3-5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role providing technical assistance to users and managing IT infrastructure.
- 2+ years of experience with Citrix or VMWare deployment, configuration, and optimization
- Experience conducting performance analysis and implementing improvements (required)
- Experience with hypervisors, for example, VMWare and Hyper-V (required)
- Experience managing and deploying cloud resources (required)
- Experience in a healthcare environment a plus
- Experience with SCCM and/or App-V a plus
Job Knowledge / Requirements: - Has excellent customer support skills and a professional demeanor at all times

- Comprehensive understanding of servers, virtual environments, WAN and LAN topologies, Citrix, VMWare Horizon, and storage environments
- Good scripting knowledge
- Active Directory, LDAP, and Microsoft SQL (required)
- Optimizing Citrix and/or VMWare virtualization with GPU backing (required), Linux knowledge a plus

Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000 per year
