In our 1:1 ABA setting, you will engage directly with children (ages 18 months to 8 years) using ethical, evidence-based ABA practices within a supportive center-based environment. You will have exceptional supervision, continuous training, and a dedicated team alongside you to make a meaningful impact daily! Key Responsibilities as a Behavior Therapist Implement one-on-one ABA therapy techniques to assist children with Autism in reaching their full potential by following treatment plans, collecting data, documenting progress, and incorporating feedback from supervisors during observation sessions. Encourage development in early childhood through engaging and enjoyable therapeutic activities. Collaborate with a team to enhance treatment effectiveness, safety, and create a joyful work environment. Engage children through various activities such as play, movement, and imitation. This may include active play, storytelling, or creative engagement - maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm. Communicate positively with stakeholders (peers, families, supervisors) to coordinate activities, celebrate achievements, and address needs effectively. Qualifications Physical ability : Capacity to lift and move children in a dynamic setting, including lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, squatting, and running to stay engaged and maintain safety. Organizational skills : Ability to keep therapy environments tidy and organized to promote an engaging atmosphere for children. Multitasking : Skill in managing multiple activities or conversations while prioritizing safety and care of all parties involved. Team player : Willingness to support team initiatives cohesively across the center, neighborhood, and region, including potential travel to nearby centers. Transportation : Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required. Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED. Complete the RBT certification within 20 days of starting by undergoing a 40-hour training curriculum, hands-on competency assessment, and passing the board exam. Salary Ranges Based on Experience & Education: Associates/High School: $15.00 - $22.50 Bachelors: $15.00 - $24.00 Masters: $16.00 - $26.00 New hires can expect their first raise upon achieving RBT certification, typically within 21 days. Experience in these fields is a plus!
