We are currently seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team in Glendale, WI. As the EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations and standards to reinforce our safety culture and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside EHS Director to develop, implement and manage EHS programs, policies, procedures and controls
  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on EHS matters and own key safety improvement efforts
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations and standards, including OSHA
  • Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to minimize risk
  • Investigate EHS incidents and accidents and develop corrective action plans
  • Conduct trainings with employees on EHS regulations, procedures and standards, covering emergency procedures and workplace safety
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies, emergency responders, and other stakeholders as necessary
  • Other EHS duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in EHS in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
