About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of closing the gender and racial investment gap. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and passionate leader with a strong background in nonprofit management, philanthropy, or impact investing. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include overseeing the organization's operations, program development, staff management, and strategic alignment. This role demands a leader who can enforce best practices, maintain a strong company culture, and ensure the team is focused on the right priorities. The Executive Director will also be responsible for financial management, including budget monitoring and resource allocation, and must have a proven track record in fundraising and building strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' of senior management experience and a deep understanding of the investment-philanthropy nexus. They should be committed to supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs, with a focus on quality programs and data-driven evaluation. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors, the Founder and CEO, and external stakeholders, so excellent communication and relationship management skills are essential. The role requires an individual who is adaptable, innovative, and dedicated to the values of the organization, particularly those related to racial and gender equity.
