Job Description

Position Title: Fabricator

Wage: $20-$28/hour

Shift: 1st, 2nd

Hours: 6am-2:30pm, 1:20pm-11:20pm

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Fabricator for a company in Mequon, WI. This is a contract to hire role.

Fabricator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate CNC vertical machining center, punch press, press brake, lathe, saw, and/or router

Fabricator Requirements:
- High school diploma of general education degree (GED)
- 2+ years of experience in field
- Able to lift/carry up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Stand, walk, reach, bend, twist, climb, balance, and use hands and fingers
- Operate equipment and hand tools
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Experience using basic measuring tools and equipment
- Experience reading job specifications, interpreting blueprints and other fabrication documents to determine machine settings and material requirements
- Confidence and high attention to detail
- Accuracy in recording set up and run times
- Must be safety conscious with good housekeeping practices
