Our client, a leading organization in the advertising sector, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team. As a Financial Accountant, you will be part of the accounting department supporting various agencies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Financial Accountant

Location: Omaha, NE

Salary Range: $50,000 - $54,000/yr.

Job Type:  Permanent/Direct Hire

Schedule:  2 shift options : M-F 6AM-2:30PM or 8:30AM-5PM Hybrid

What's the Job?

• Prepare variance analysis and commentaries for financial reporting.
• Process journal entries and maintain accurate account reconciliations.
• Resolve intercompany out of balances within given deadlines.
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly closing schedules for consolidation reporting.
• Support internal and external personnel with inquiries related to accounting systems and processes.

What's Needed?

• Associates degree or progress towards a degree in accounting or related field.
• One year of related accounting experience is preferred.
• Excel spreadsheet skills required (advanced excel skills such as macros a plus)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
