Position Overview The Front Desk/Receptionist will greet and direct members, guests, and staff as they enter the gym and provide control of the front door location. This position is for Friday: 12pm-6pm; Saturday: 9am-4pm; Sunday: 1pm-5pm; and Monday: 2pm-8pm. Responsibilities Enthusiastically greets each member and guest promptly using the proper greeting for time of day to create a friendly positive entrance and departure to and from the gym Personally checks each member into the gym using the proper check-in procedures Register all guests into the gym using proper registration procedures Provides new guests with a tour of the gym and helps answer questions about current membership options Assists guests with purchasing a new membership Answers phone in a professional and courteous manner and uses proper phone greeting techniques Processes retail and concession sales Cleans and maintains the front desk area Requirements Excellent customer service skills Ability to communicate effectively with both staff and members Ability to multi-task Sales Experience preferred About Workout Anytime Atlanta-based Workout Anytime is a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week fitness concept with 180+ units across the U.S. Founded by fitness veterans John Quattrocchi and Steve Strickland, the company was formed to provide members with first-class fitness facilities at the lowest cost possible, deliver a profitable and affordable business model to franchisees, and offer exciting career opportunities for its employees.
