Come Join Our Team and Experience the Joy of Guiding ChildrenThis position provides care for children ages 6 weeks through 4 years old under the supervision of the Child Care Center Director and Lead Teacher within the classroom. The position will help introduce and educate new and basic concepts to children by reading to, talking to, playing with, and nurturing them. The childcare provider must be able to communicate well with parents, which will include keeping daily records on the child. As a Support Teacher, this position could cover any of the rooms within the childcare center, nursery through 4 years old. Operating hours are 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, so no nights or weekends. Shift: Monday - Friday 11:45am-5:30pm
In order to foster the best environment for our youngsters, the candidate chosen must have a warm and caring attitude toward working with children and their families. They must be dependable and honest; be flexible and adapt to change and must be willing to accept supervision in order to improve work performance. The candidate chosen must be physically able to play (work) with young children, crawling on floor, lifting and moving around classroom.

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required and candidate must be 18 years of age. Must have some experience working with children either in a home or work environment. Additional requirements will be required to be obtained throughout employment as required by licensing standards.
