Job Description

My client, a global investment firm is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager with at least 7 years of experience in the mutual fund or finance industry, with a strong background in fund valuation, accounting, or auditing. The candidate should have managerial experience, excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, and be proficient in Excel. Experience with hedge funds, private equity, real estate structures, and regulatory reporting would be a plus, along with process management and improvement experience.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee NAV calculations and support tax and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and assist with audits.
• Resolve operational issues, manage deadlines, and make critical decisions.
• Handle trial balance activities and review distributions and tax documents.
• Provide team support, manage business partners, and participate in personnel management.
• Respond to queries, collaborate with colleagues, and lead process improvements and strategic projects.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years in the mutual fund or finance industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience working with a fund administrator or audit firm is a plus.
• Demonstrated managerial experience
