Position Title: Graphic Artist

Wage: $17-$21/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 8am-5pm, Must have flexibility

QPS Employment Group is hiring for a Production Graphic Artist for a company in Springfield, MO. This is an associate to hire opportunity.

Graphic Artist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Graphics Department in preparing files and materials needed for print production, including both digital and flexographic printing
- Knowledge of Outlook, Google Sheets and Adobe Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop
- Knowledge of Esko plug-ins and digital printing is preferred but not mandatory
- Know how to manipulate customer supplied files for production using these programs

Graphic Artist Requirements:
- Associate degree in Graphics Design or equivalent work experience
- A team player willing to provide accurate and efficient customer service
- Self-motivated with the ability to set and achieve goals and deadlines
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Knowledge of pre-press graphics, including bleed, trapping, stepping and distorting is preferred but we are willing to train the right person
- Ability to read a ruler is a must
- Knowledge of both Windows and Mac operating systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, as you will be working directly with the customers and other departments
