Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Graphic Designer plays a pivotal role in elevating the visual identity of the brand across all touchpoints. They are responsible for creating engaging and impactful designs that support product launches, promotional campaigns, and brand storytelling across print and digital platforms. Collaborating closely with marketing, product, and creative teams, the graphic designer ensures consistency, clarity, and visual appeal in all customer-facing materials.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create Visuals:

  • Design compelling visuals for digital and print media that engage both internal and external audiences.
  • Ensure all materials align with brand guidelines and organizational objectives.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing, product, and other teams to understand goals and gather input for design projects.
  • Translate stakeholder feedback and ideas into innovative, visually compelling designs.

Manage Projects:

  • Take ownership of design projects from initial concept through final delivery, ensuring timelines, scope, and specifications are met.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively while juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Deliver Assets:

  • Prepare final files for production across multiple channels, ensuring correct formatting, resolution, and specifications.
  • Optimize assets for usability, performance, and consistency across all platforms.

Work with Vendors:

  • Communicate with external vendors to ensure high-quality production of assets.
  • Review print proofs and mock-ups, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to brand and quality standards.

Stay Updated:

  • Stay current on emerging design trends, new tools, and software updates relevant to visual communication and creative workflows.
  • Apply industry best practices to enhance the effectiveness of design work.

Improve Processes:

  • Identify opportunities to refine and improve design systems, templates, and creative workflows to streamline efficiency.
  • Develop reusable assets and contribute to scalable systems that support rapid content creation and brand consistency.

Mentor Designers:

  • Provide thoughtful, constructive feedback and guidance to junior designers.
  • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment by sharing best practices and encouraging continuous learning.

Follow Guidelines:

  • Interpret creative briefs and project direction with accuracy ensuring deliverables align with established brand guidelines and tone.
  • Maintain attention to detail and consistency across all touchpoints.

Support Marketing:

  • Design visually engaging content that drives awareness, engagement, and conversions across campaigns and channels.
  • Contribute creative input that supports overall team initiatives and business objectives.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  1. 3+ years of professional experience in graphic design for both digital and print formats.
  2. Bachelors degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
  3. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); experience with Premier Pro, After Effects, and Canva is a plus.
  4. Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  6. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality in all design deliverables.
  7. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  8. Ability to take direction and design with brand guidelines while adapting to feedback.
  9. Experience preparing final design files for print and digital, including working with vendors.
