Job Description Job Description Class A - Head Golf Course Superintendent position opens January 31, 2026 Crane Field Golf Course in Clinton, Utah, is looking for an experienced Head Golf Course Superintendent who is passionate about maintaining top-quality greens. As a locally owned 18-hole public facility, Crane Field is known for its welcoming community atmosphere. We empower our Head Superintendent by giving them budget control and decision-making authority , allowing them to implement best practices without the unnecessary board politics or micromanaging. The Head Golf Course Superintendent at Crane Field will play a crucial role in ensuring that our course maintains its reputation for excellence. This position offers a unique opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to make a significant impact and truly run the golf course maintenance program. Key Responsibilities 5 years of experience in golf course maintenance Proven track record of maintaining high-quality greens Strong leadership in team staffing and management skills Knowledge of turf science, soil chemistry, and management practices Ability to develop and implement maintenance programs Good communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with machine maintenance Experience with Central Irrigation Systems Maintain budgets, equipment, and supply inventories Challenges & Opportunities: High salinity in clay soils require intermediate to advanced knowledge of turf science, soil chemistry, and irrigation management.
