Job Description:
The Head Men's Soccer Coach is a full-time, year-round position responsible for leading and managing all aspects of an NCAA Division III soccer program. This role includes recruiting and developing student-athletes, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture, and ensuring compliance with institutional, conference, and NCAA regulations. The coach will collaborate with athletic department staff to support the holistic development of student-athletes and contribute to the mission and goals of the department and institution.
Key responsibilities include organizing and conducting practices, developing competitive strategies, overseeing assistant coaches, managing program budgets, coordinating team travel, and promoting academic success and personal growth among team members. The Head Coach will serve as a mentor and leader for the student-athletes while embodying the values of sportsmanship, integrity, and excellence. Additionally, the position may include secondary responsibilities within the athletic department, such as facility oversight, administrative duties, or other assignments based on the candidate's skill set and departmental needs.

Classification/Salary Range: This position is a college year (10 months) part-time UUP position. The anticipated salary for the position is $12,000.00 subject to proration for the remaining of the Academic Year 2024-2025. Special Notes: FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.
