The Role: We are looking for our next Head of Customer Technical Service (CTS) Application, Americas to lead our Food & Protein Specialties application efforts across the Americas. This individual will manage a regional team of scientists and application managers, align with business partners on technical strategy, and guide the innovation pipeline in food and nutrition. The role will support both customer-driven and long-term strategic innovation with a strong focus on plant-based ingredients. This position is located in Geneva, IL. Compensation: The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $170,335- $230,600. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location. What You’ll Do: Lead application support in Food and Nutrition for current business, range extensions, and new product development Manage and develop a regional team of application managers and scientists (8 total, 5 direct reports) Ensure alignment with regional strategy in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Technical Developers, Project Managers, and R&D Provide direct customer support when needed, including prototype development backed by scientific evidence Facilitate knowledge transfer to go-to-market teams to accelerate adoption of new solutions Guide team resourcing, workload distribution, and lab efficiency Lead innovation ideation, adoption of new technologies, and application process improvements Represent Roquette in key technical and customer presentations Contribute to global and regional initiatives to develop the long-term plant-based ingredient pipeline Ensure safety management at regional Innovation Applications Centers What You’ll Need: Education: 10–15 years of experience in food product development or technical sales At least 10 years of team management and mentoring experience Preferred background in Plant Protein or Dairy industry Strong business acumen and ability to develop strategic customer relationships Experience with food ingredients, processing technologies, and scientific trends Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and technical presentation skills Supervisory Responsibility: This role will directly manage a team of 5, while managing a total team of 8 Business Travel: Travel up to 30%, including international and conferences AAP/EEO Statement Roquette is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
