Human Resource Manager
Large Race team headquarters is Human Resource Manager. As a critical member of the leadership team reporting to the Team President, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for all day-to-day human resource activities. The Manager will build and develop a high functioning human resources team to support the company's goals and objectives. Key responsibilities of this role include planning, executing, and coordinating employee benefit programs, legal compliance, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations.
This is a direct hire position with a salary between $105,000 - $125,000 based on experience located in Concord NC.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
Manages all aspects of recruiting including job posting, sourcing of candidates, screening of applicants, interviewing, job offers and onboarding
Partners with educational institutions, professional organizations, social media and other potential recruitment sources to develop a competitive recruiting advantage
Ensures all hiring and staffing policies and procedures are legally compliant and recommends changes as required
Employee Relations
Works with managers to develop employee review procedures, and setting of employee goals
Facilitates career development programs for employees
Partners with managers to advise and resolve employee relations concerns
Makes recommendations, and oversees execution, on employee actions
Benefits/Compliance
Act as primary point of contact and Plan Administrator for all benefits programs
Research, plan and select benefit programs for the company, including health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending, 401k, accidental death and disability, and life insurance.
Manage the annual open enrollment process
Completes all benefit audits including 401k, 5500 and benchmark studies
Manages Workers' Compensation cases and filings
Responsible for all HR required testing and filings
Work closely with benefits brokers and service providers as needed
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages the day to day activities, performance and job responsibilities of HR team
Other Responsibilities
Manage payroll and timekeeping administration through ADP WFN
Manage implementation of HRIS systems
Safety committee member
Maintain all required HR records and documentation
Work with outside legal counsel as needed
Maintain corporate policies and procedures
Various projects as assigned by company management
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources preferred, or equivalent experience.
Ability to develop strong peer level relationships and work in a team environment
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Advanced experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience working with HRIS, payroll and timekeeping systems, preferably ADP WFN
Thorough and current knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Must be thorough with a strong sense of attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills
Must work well under pressure
Proven ability to build internal relationships and interact with all levels of the organization
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Self-motivated, driven, success-oriented individual with collaborative communication style
