Job Description
The ideal candidate will ideally have two years of documented experience in insulation jobs or the willingness and ability to undergo progressive and incremental training both in classroom and hands-on settings. A good Insulation Installer will have excellent leadership skills while remaining aware of their limitations and never hesitating to reach out to a higher level team member for help when needed.

This position requires spending time outdoors and in unconditioned spaces that can reach temperature extremes depending on the season. The ideal candidate must be comfortable in tight spaces, including attics and crawl spaces, and be able to maneuver carefully while maintaining their balance. The candidate should be prepared to work up a sweat on a regular basis and be willing to work in environments where dust and dirt abound. Protective equipment will be provided; the person in this position is expected to wear all required safety gear and follow all guidelines set forth to maintain a safe workplace.
The person in this position must have the social skills to work as a team. This may include regular customer contact and answering any questions the customer may have. An ideal candidate also demonstrates willingness to grow the skills of the trade and readily consults someone with more experience as needed to troubleshoot any problems during installation. Insulation Installers can progress to the level of a Master Installer after approximately 480 hours in this role and successful completion of related examinations.
