Provider of professional liability and specialty commercial insurance looking to hire Underwriter to:
*** Solicit new and renewal submissions from brokers.
*** Identify risk exposures, special or common hazards, and appropriate controls, and quantify risks based on experience history, forecasting methods, and financial statements and ratios.
*** Negotiate coverage terms and conditions to achieve bottom line profitability for the Company while meeting customer needs.
*** Analyze claims and quantify losses.
*** Document the underwriting files.
Desired Experience:
*** Bachelor’s degree.
*** 2+ years of medical malpractice underwriting.
