• 4 years of professional iOS experience with 3 of those years being the most recent.

• At least 4 years of Swift programming experience.

• Must have shipped an application that was delivered to the App Store.

• A technical degree in Computer Science or equivalent is highly desired; in place of a technical degree 4 additional years of engineering experience with Java or Kotlin, preferably mobile is acceptable instead.

• Must have 2 years of experience developing with SwiftUI

• Also preferred are folks who can lead with architectural and UI/UX knowledge.

Client is hiring for a Senior iOS Software Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA. In this position,you will be designing, developing and maintaining iOS Apps and/or SDKs for an industry leading CGM
device, to help improve the lives of people with diabetes. You will be joining a well-established team & company, on an upward growth trajectory.

Where you come in:

• You will design and build applications for the iOS platform
• You'll implement requirements on iOS apps, write and update design documents

• You'll participate in design, code and test reviews, provide technical leadership

What makes you successful:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• You have a minimum 2 years of native iOS app development experience using Swift and SwiftUI and 5 years of professional software development experience
• You bring a high degree of diligence in documentation, testing and coding
• You have experience working in Agile teams & using tools such as Jira and Confluence
• You have experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Github Actions
• You have experience with version control tools such as Git, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket and GitFlow
• You have experience writing automated tests using XCTest, XCUITest
• You have working knowledge of design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, MVP

Language Skills:

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
