IT Infrastructure Architect

Rate: DOE

Duration: 17 months

Location : Dallas, TX Fully Remote

If they travel to customer location, they can expenses that out based on Hitachi travel policy. Preferably Dallas, Tx or remote.

Pre-Qualifying Questions:

1. Do you have experience in End to End Enterprise IT infrastructure design and implementation?

2. Do you have experience in Automation?

3. Do you have experience in ServiceNow integration?

Requirements

Bachelor / master's degree in IT with 15+ years of experience as Enterprise IT Infrastructure architect in Datacenter / On-prem / remote sites environment.

Deep technical expertise across multiple technical domains including IT infrastructure, VMWare, Windows, storage, security, compliance, Network, firewall, Load balancers, Secops, access management, DMZ, ServiceNow etc

Interface with customers, gather information about the current design, customer requirement and the come-up with the best solution

Design, review and integrate new systems

Recommend improvements or alternative technologies to better meet business

Experience in setting up vulnerability management tools

Experience in setting up monitoring tools.

Experience in tools like Mulesoft, Splunk, GitLab

Experience in ServiceNow integration

Experience in Asset Management

Experience in ITSM

Hands on experience in automation scripting using Ansible, Terraform etc.

Own and provide guidance to the team in implementing the solution and help resolving any open issues.

For this Architect roles, the preference is full-time employment & if that is not possible, we can go for contract.

Expense Policy is listed as None-Inclusive Ok. Does this mean they need to be onsite, but can travel in on their own dime? How much onsite is needed per week? - Maybe I selected this incorrectly. If they travel to customer location, they can expense that out based on Hitachi travel policy.

What is the location? - Preferably Dallas, Tx or remote.

Is this a contract-to-perm req? - For this Architect roles, the preference is full time employment & if that is not possible, we can go for contract.
