Job Purpose
- Identify, design and implement solutions by transforming raised business requirements into processes and solutions and delivering project across all stages with the GPAM Solutions - OMS team, ensuring that the solutions as defined are delivered as first class, affordable and flexible Core Product tools used globally.
- Support IT Product Management plans, programs and processes, roadmap, and feature definition for a product or product line and deliver a complete product in line with overall business strategy and objectives, and Group guidelines and policies
- Support the Business Solutions function, which consists of Solution Design, Supply Chain Engineering, and Sales Support / Bid Management for Order Management Solutions (OMS)
- Participate in developing and presenting technical and operational solutions to OMS customers (prospects and existing) and providing training for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with key OMS stakeholders (Business Solutions, Operations, Implementation) and other regional counterparts to develop new service offerings.
Job Tasks
- Design and implementation of innovative OMS IT solutions that enhance business performance and competitiveness.
- Drive and responsible for the solution design and implementation for the assigned business requirements raised in the OMS solutions domain, ensuring legal and fiscal, the goal of productivity maximization and error elimination.
- Support the design of new processes for new capabilities aligned with all stakeholders (including other domains as needed).
- Collect feedback on the usages and effectiveness of the published processes and implement ways to increase usage and effectiveness.
- Independent management and content ownership of projects within the Solutions OMS domain
- Ensure documentation of requirements and testing specifications based on input from stakeholders
- Execution and management of testing in collaboration with test teams and field users
- Provide and monitor documentation and training surrounding newly delivered processes as required
- Support in the resolution of incidents (INC) raised by end users (level 3 support)
- Act as liaison with other functions and vendors to clarify features, roadmap priority, customer experience, user experience, compliance, accessibility, and other requirements.
- Analyze trends in technologies within product area to articulate technology requirements and identify risks in technology design choices.
Skills and knowledge required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT Solution and Process design development.
- Extensive experience in Infor Nexus, CW1 and EIP, specifically in Solution and Process Design.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 10 years of Order Management Solutions or similar experience.
- 10 years of Freight Forwarding experience.
- Ability to independently manage large projects or processes.
- Proficiency in identifying and translating complex business requirements into solutions, IT capabilities, and processes.
- Understanding of business critical requirements and the impact of those requirements on process execution.
- Strong leadership skills to manage multiple stakeholders with different interests, while maintaining a customer and business-oriented approach.
- Recognized subject matter expert in end-to-end Purchase Order Management and Logistics.
- Extensive knowledge and previous experience with:
- Infor Nexus and other IT applications such as CW1, ESP, EDM, FSI, and planning tools.
- DGF Forwarding and VAS processes and systems related to OMS.
- IT landscape, IT systems capabilities, and system integration.
- Forwarding Industry, specifically in Ocean Freight, Airfreight, or Brokerage.
