Job Title: Junior Merchandise Assistant
Location: Framingham, MA
Duration: 6-month Contract
Work Type: Hybrid
Pay Range: $23/Hr

Job Description:

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for the retail industry? We're seeking a talented Junior Merchandise Assistant to support our buying team in Framingham, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase Order Management:
  • Prepare and process domestic and import purchase orders.
  • Monitor and expedite PO entry and ensure accuracy.
  • Track and follow up on late shipments and vendor issues.
  • Collaborate with Planning & Allocation to optimize PO processes.
• Vendor Communication:
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors through regular communication.
  • Handle inquiries, address concerns, and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate vendor appointments and sample requests.
• Administrative Support:
  • Provide general office support, including filing, photocopying, and faxing.
  • Organize reports and track key metrics.
  • Assisted with travel arrangements and coordinated vendor visits.
  • Support other team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in retail or merchandising is preferred
