Job Description

Community Sports Partners is one of the largest and fastest-growing private youth sports operators in the GTA. We are dedicated to providing fun, engaging experiences that create lasting memories for the youth and families in our communities!

We are looking for a Junior Web Developer who is passionate about web design and development, with a primary focus on building high-converting landing pages and enhancing our website's front-end experience. This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates eager to gain experience in web development, particularly in UI/UX design and front-end technologies, with some exposure to back-end programming.

• Design and develop visually appealing, responsive landing pages and website components.

• Optimize front-end designs for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.

• Implement UI/UX best practices to improve user experience and engagement.

• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to align website updates with brand goals.

• Make minor back-end updates to support landing page functionality (basic PHP and SQL).

• Conduct A/B testing to analyze and improve user interactions.

• Debug and troubleshoot front-end issues to ensure smooth website performance.

• Stay up to date with the latest web design trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 1-5 years professional experience.

• Basic experience with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

• Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first development.

• Understanding of UI/UX principles and basic design concepts.

• Basic knowledge of back-end technologies such as PHP and SQL (for minor updates).

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, TailwindCSS).

• Exposure to JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React).

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

• Experience with API integration (e.g., Stripe, Twilio, Brevo).

• Knowledge of SEO and web performance optimization.

• Previous experience in A/B testing and data-driven UI improvements.
