Housekeeper Position

A seasoned housekeeper is sought for a busy family home on the Upper East Side, starting ASAP. The family is typically in residence from September through June, and the schedule is generally 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some evening and weekend flexibility. Candidates will also be required to work a bi-weekly rotational schedule in the Hamptons over the Summer months. The candidate will work as part of a housekeeping team in a fully staffed household.

Responsibilities:

• The housekeeper will be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of the property, laundry, ironing, wardrobe care, care for antiques, art, silverware, and miscellaneous organizational needs for the family.
• Candidates must be experienced, professional team players, as they will be working as part of a cohesive housekeeping team, and a whole staff.

Qualifications:

• At least 5-8 years' experience in a similar role.
• Superlative and verifiable references.

Requirements:

• US passport, Green Card or EAC.
• Available to start ASAP.

Salary and Benefits:

• $90-$95k + Medical, Dental & Vision benefits.
• 401K after 90 days of employment.
• Overtime after 40 hours.
