Job Description: Landscape Lighting Technician

Location: Bonita Springs, FL

Employment Type: Full-Time

Department: Installation & Maintenance

Compensation: Based on experience + potential bonuses

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Lighting Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting outdoor lighting systems that enhance the beauty, safety, and functionality of residential and commercial landscapes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of electrical systems, attention to detail, and a passion for creating visually stunning outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage and line-voltage landscape lighting systems, including transformers, fixtures, wiring, and controls
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to existing lighting systems
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely solutions
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Educate clients on system operation and maintenance

✅ Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in electrical work preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in landscape lighting, electrical work, or related field
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and lighting controls
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with LED technology and energy-efficient lighting
• Basic landscaping knowledge
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
