About the Team

The Analytics team is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to serve as the Analytics leader in Australia, working cross-functionally with the local Strategy & Operations team as well as the central Analytics org to drive data informed decisions and impact.

About the Role

Data is at the heart of every decision we make in DoorDash, and we are looking for an individual to serve as the Analytics leader for our Australia executive team as it relates to data driven decision making and problem solving.

We solve many exciting challenges from all three sides of our marketplace including customer acquisition, balancing supply and demand, fraud and support, marketing, marketplace efficiency, and more. We're excited about you because you have…

• A degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Business or a similar domain


• 9+ years of experience in Data Science and Analytics, primarily in related industries


• The technical ability in SQL / Python to own a solution end to end


• The business intuition and problem solving skillset to manage the complexity of our 3-sided marketplace


• Excellent communication skills, capable of taking complex topics and distilling them down for non-technical stakeholders to drive buy-in


• Demonstrated the ability to create impact with your analysis, as well as prioritize effectively between 80/20 solutions and more nuanced approaches
