HonorVet Technologies is seeking a local contract nurse RN Psychiatric for a local contract nursing job in New York, New York.

Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN) – Psychiatric Emergency Unit (CPEP) 

Location: Mount Sinai, New York, NY 10025
Department: Nursing Child Adolescent Psychiatry
Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) Every Other Weekend (EOW)

 

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or PMCS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Emergency setting (CPEP).
• Travel nursing experience preferred (1 year), but not required for per diem positions.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records highly preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing considered with relevant experience or ongoing BSN matriculation.
• Must have experience working in hospital psychiatric emergency settings.
