Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, including but not limited to fire, security, audio/visual, and telecommunications.
• Conduct site assessments to determine system requirements and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and safety regulations.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
• Provide training and support to clients on system operation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a low voltage technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and components.
• Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and safety practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Certification:

• NM ES-3J or ES-7J (Required)
• NICET: 1 or 2 (Preferred) $$
• BICSI: INST1 or TECH (Preferred) $$$

Expected hours:

• 40 – 60 per week
