Job Title: Meat Market Manager

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Open Availability Required, 5:00 AM - 10:00 PM

Quarterly Bonus: Eligible

Job Duties:

• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards mandated by state, federal, and OSHA regulations.
• Operate and maintain equipment including power saws, knives, slicers, cubers, and commercial grinders.
• Unload trucks, and process bulk meats into appropriate portions for various food recipes.
• Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure it’s in good working condition.
• Manage department inventory, following operational processes.
• Oversee department budget, prepare reports, and conduct report analysis.
• Ensure all meat cuts are properly trimmed, attractively presented, and priced with adequate allowances for tare weights and shrink.

Job Qualifications:

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including managing/supervising cross-functional teams, training team members, and driving and communicating results.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Qualified journeyman meat cutter preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume environment with sales of up to $100,000 in products weekly.
